The Hydro-United Tire Corporation was originally incorporated in Pennsylvania and was known for their line of Hydro-Toron, Hydro-Insured and Hydro-Balloon Cord tires. The company’s factory was located on Hanover Street in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and was a former National Rubber Company plant.

The company went into receivership in 1922 and emerged as a Delaware corporation in 1925.
